MGVC's  Specialty Greens 

 
Our variety of packaged greens mixes are available in local super-markets from May to October. MGVC's specialty mixes are harvested at their peak and travel fewer miles from field to table. This gives our greens a longer average shelf life and more intense flavor compared with their California counter-parts.

This year, we will grow the following for clamshells:

Sometimes the heat gets to a particular variety and it sets seed or becomes bitter.  That's why we always have another half dozen varieties growing up at the same time.

Straight-Up Fresh!

Our organically-grown salad mixes are harvested, packed and distributed to local stores, all before Californian fields can get their products to Nevada!

That's why we're proud to post our harvest dates on each clamshell.  It feels so good seeing our products on shelves, even after a week, looking primed for the plate and far better than their national competitors.
